Purpose and description of the content of education: | The course is designed to include a pedagogical perspective in the teaching of social work in this field, which is justified by the following:
the historical connection between social work in Poland and social pedagogy;
the usefulness of the didactic tools of pedagogy and andragogy in social work
critical pedagogical reflection on the causation and consequences of social maladjustment, prejudice, and social discrimination.
Special attention is paid to the values and ideas of humanistic, critical, and emancipatory pedagogy, as well as pedagogical activities and programs aimed at democratizing social life, eliminating social inequality, and empowering social relations. |
