Purpose and description of the content of education:
During the implementation of the module, the student constructs general and operational goals of working with students with moderate and severe intellectual disabilities. Based on a functional diagnosis, it develops a profile of the student's achievements, a multi-specialist assessment of the level of his/her functioning and an individual educational and therapeutic program for a student of a special primary school and a special school preparing for work. She designs and implements educational and therapeutic classes for students with moderate and severe intellectual disabilities. The student acquires knowledge, skills and competences in the field of: methods and content of teaching people with moderate or severe intellectual disabilities at various educational stages, in various types of special education institutions, constructing documentation regarding the diagnosis, course of teaching and assessing the student and the principles of organizing school space, own workshop, cooperation with family, teachers, and specialists. All the learning outcomes assumed in the module are planned to be achieved during face-to-face classes with academic teachers, as well as during the student's work, which includes preparation for the forms of verification of learning outcomes and requirements specified in the module.
