Purpose and description of the content of education:
Moduł Podstawy pedagogiki osób ze spektrum autyzmu wprowadza w podstawowe pojęcia i problemy wyłaniającej się subdyscypliny pedagogiki specjalnej, charakteryzuje jej podmiot i przedmiot badań. Treści modułu koncentrują się wokół podstawowych pojęć: całościowe zaburzenia rozwoju, autyzm, zaburzenia ze spektrum autyzmu. Omówione zostaną takie zagadnienia jak historia badań nad autyzmem, epidemiologia, etiologia, symptomatologia zaburzeń ze spektrum autyzmu, kryteria diagnostyczne ujęte w klasyfikacjach DSM i ICD, regulacje prawne edukacji, podstawowe kwestie terapii a także pomoc i wsparcie osób z zaburzeniami ze spektrum autyzmu i ich rodzin. Wszystkie efekty uczenia się zakładane w module planuje się osiągnąć w trakcie zajęć w kontakcie bezpośrednim z nauczycielami akademickimi, a także podczas pracy własnej studenta, obejmującej przygotowanie do form weryfikacji efektów uczenia się, wymagań określonych w module.
