Purpose and description of the content of education:
The aim of the module is to familiarise the student with selected research perspectives focused on the category of locality and its various realisations in contemporary culture. Depending on the instructor's decision, the module may cover a broad spectrum of reflections, from selected phenomena of local cultures (e.g. film, theatre or art) to the cultural heritage of a given region and reflections on the relation between what is local and what is global. As part of the module, students choose one of the original subjects on offer in the course of the year.
