Purpose and description of the content of education: | The aim of the module is to introduce the student to the field of Public Relations: the concepts of PR, the philosophy of PR and its functions, and the psychosocial foundations of PR. As part of the module, the student acquires skills in analysing techniques of exerting influence, and learns about practices derived from the application of persuasion theory. You also learn about PR activities in public institutions and non-governmental organisations and about ethical principles in public relations. |
