Purpose and description of the content of education: | The subject "Basics of microscopy" provides basic knowledge of light microscopy techniques used today in biological research. The subject familiarizes the student with the structure, principle of operation and applications of the bright field microscope. The main emphasis is placed on the ability to independently use a light microscope, determine the actual dimensions of biological objects, acquire the ability to analyze and interpret microscopic images. |
