Xenobiotics in the environment Field of study: Biotechnology
Programme code: W2-S1BT19.2023

Module name: Xenobiotics in the environment
Module code: 1BT_23_25
Programme code: W2-S1BT19.2023
Semester:
  • summer semester 2026/2027
  • summer semester 2025/2026
Language of instruction: depending on the choice
Form of verification: course work
ECTS credits: 3
Purpose and description of the content of education:
The module has a project character and is a laboratory encounter with substances that are considered alien to the environment. The substances are derived from our environment and the role of the Students is to familiarise themselves, by searching the specialised literature, with all the information on their chemical structure, transformation in the environment and living organisms, sources of origin and their toxicity to living organisms.
