Purpose and description of the content of education:
The module conveys knowledge of general chemistry (organic, inorganic) and physics to understand biological problems and the ability to multifaceted problem-solving skills, emphasizing the need to apply physicochemical methods and IT tools in modern biology and biotechnology, the use of laboratory equipment and analysis of results.

Operates knowledge of general chemistry (organic, inorganic) and physics. Describes the structure and role of amino acids, proteins, nucleic acids, carbohydrates, fatty acids and fats in prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells. Gathers knowledge using available sources of scientific information. Forms and improves personal scientific discussion skills. [01]
