Purpose and description of the content of education:
Interdisciplinary foundations of environmental geochemistry. Environmental threats related to global, regional, and local changes induced by human economic activity (including tracking the course of geochemical anomalies associated with the use of fossil fuels). Understanding and analyzing the mechanisms of element circulation in the outer layers of the Earth, interactions between biotic and abiotic elements, and the impact of anthropogenic stress on processes taking place on the Earth's surface. Outline of methods of geochemical research of field and laboratory environmental samples. The importance of medical geochemistry in environmental sciences.
