Purpose and description of the content of education:
During the course, the students are given the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the field of study of the supervisor and to propose/discuss the thematic scope of the bachelor's thesis. During classes, the student is introduced to the secrets of the scientific workshop of the promoter, learns to use scientific databases, searches for scientific sources of information and learns how to read and gain information from them to be able to carry out the dissertation. Under supervision, the student practices the ability to formulate objectives, discuss simple scientific problems, and practices the ability to conclude. The final outcome of the module is the substantive and practical preparation of the student for the production of an undergraduate dissertation; the formulation of a dissertation topic in accordance with the student's interests; the development of a dissertation plan; and the collection of the necessary professional literature. When the undergraduate thesis involves laboratory work, the module objective is to establish a plan for experiments and to carry them out.

Makes a critical selection and synthesis of obtained data, formulates conclusions, and actively participates in scientific discussions with a supervisor. Based on the collected literature, prepares a comprehensive plan for the Bachelor's thesis. [02]
