Purpose and description of the content of education:
Zadaniem modułu jest poszerzanie wiedzy umożliwiającej zrozumienie kontekstu historycznego wszystkich epok, a w efekcie pogłębienie zdolności analizy formalnej i treściowej dzieł pochodzących z różnych okresów. Program modułu obejmuje omówienie wybór tematów z zakresu zjawisk występujących w sztuce współczesnej (po II wojnie światowej). Student uczy się odnajdywać aspekty historyczne w otaczającej go rzeczywistości i współczesnych mu obrazach. Sztuka w jej rozlicznych przejawach stanowi tu rodzaj zwierciadła, w którym przegląda się i bada swoje oblicze autor filmu. Jako samodzielny twórca, student zaczyna świadomie umieszczać odniesienia do stylów i motywów sztuki w swoich pracach, dobierając i odpowiednio modyfikując środki ekspresji. Interpretacja, wzbogacona o znajomość dziedzictwa kultury i sztuki, jest cechą dystynktywną autorów zdjęć filmowych i fotografików.
