| Purpose and description of the content of education: | 1. The subject in the form of a seminar is intended to familiarize students with the phenomenon of toxicity and venom in the animal world. Students learn about the most important groups of venomous and irritating animals, venom organs, and mechanisms of action of venoms and toxins.
2. Bee, wasp, tarantula, black mamba. These animals come from different groups, but they have one unique feature in common - they are venomous. They attack for defence or food. They sting and bite in a fraction of a second, injecting venom into the victim's body - a chemical substance that paralyzes or kills. Still, others spit and shoot acid, which effectively saves them from enemy attack. "Bioweapons" is a safe subject about dangerous animals, their venoms and toxins that can also heal and save lives. |
