Purpose and description of the content of education:
Objective: to obtain knowledge about the causes and effects of degradation of various elements of the environment, classification of degraded and devastated areas and various ways of their reclamation. The module provides current knowledge and practical grounds for the development of anthropogenically transformed areas, natural processes taking place in post-industrial areas, as well as the possibility of shaping and creating habitats in degraded areas with the use of appropriate species of plants and animals. The module enables knowledge of the basic methods of reclamation and revitalization of degraded areas corresponds to the basic principles of Polish law and the implemented law of the European Union.
