General description: Nanobiotechnology directly reflects human life, in particular it is conducive to the development of science and medicine. The aim of the course is to show the versatility of the latest discoveries in the field of nanobiotechnology and their application in medicine and other areas of human life. The course will include imaging and diagnostics using nanoparticles, drug design and drug carriers, discoveries in the field of cancer therapy, implant design and personalized treatment. An important element of the course is to show the variety of applications of nanoparticles and nanomaterials and to raise awareness of the most important problems and limitations of nanobiotechnology (including the problem of biocompatibility of nanomaterials). |
