Purpose and description of the content of education: | The Introduction to microscopy module provides knowledge of the light microscopy technique used today in biological research. Familiarizes the student with the structure, principle of operation and applications of the light microscope. Great emphasis is placed on the ability to independently use a light microscope and its use to visualize and observe the structure of cells. The student also acquires the skills of proper preparation of biological preparations, analysis and interpretation of microscopic images of cells obtained using a light microscope. |
