Purpose and description of the content of education:
Celem modułu jest przekazanie podstawowej wiedzy na temat opieki paliatywnej i hospicyjnej. Omówione zostaną zagadnienia związane z przedmiotem opieki paliatywnej; historia ruchu hospicyjnego i opieki paliatywnej w Polsce i na świecie; zasady i organizacja opieki paliatywnej; metody łagodzenia objawów bólu totalnego i cierpienia Student ma także możliwość zapoznania się z elementami psychotanatologii w opiece paliatywnej, z zasadami komunikacji z chorym w okresie terminalnym i z jego rodziną, z zagadnieniami bioetycznymi związanymi z terminalną fazą życia; z rozpoznaniem potrzeb chorych w okresie terminalnym.
