Purpose and description of the content of education:
The subject "Resocialization Psychology" aims to understand the processes and techniques used to reintegrate people who have violated social and legal norms into society. The course is designed to prepare students to work with individuals who may need assistance in returning to full functioning in society. The main content of the course includes an understanding of the causes and consequences of antisocial and criminal behavior, methods and techniques of rehabilitation, and evaluation of the effectiveness of various rehabilitation programs. Students will learn more about the role of the psychologist in the process of rehabilitation, the therapeutic and educational interventions used in working with offenders, as well as working with victims of crime. The goal of the course includes acquiring the skills necessary to effectively support the process of rehabilitation, understanding the factors that influence this process, as well as the ethical aspects of working with this specific group of clients.
