Purpose and description of the content of education:
Kurs obejmuje wiedzę na temat prawosławia i innych wyznań/religii w Rosji, informacje o dziejach prawosławia, świątyniach prawosławnych i ikonach oraz najważniejszych różnicach (teologicznych, doktrynalnych i obrzędowych) między prawosławiem a katolicyzmem.

zna i rozumie w zaawansowanym stopniu miejsce i znaczenie wiedzy o kulturze religijnej prawosławia w systemie nauk humanistycznych / teologicznych / religioznawczych oraz prawosławia wobec / wśród innych wyznań chrześcijańskich. Orientuje się w specyfice przedmiotowej prawosławia i innych wyznań/religii w Rosji – kraju wielowyznaniowego – jako racjonalnej wiedzy religijnej (ale nie wiary) z pogranicza religioznawstwa, kultury religijnej i literaturoznawstwa, ma świadomość istoty prawosławia jako wyznania autokefalicznego oraz jego wyjątkowego związku z polityką zwłaszcza w Rosji. Ma wiedzę o znaczeniu prawosławia dla samych Rosjan i fundamentalnego wpływu tego wyznania na historię, kulturę, politykę Rosji i literaturę rosyjską, a co za tym idzie na mentalność Rosjan. Jest świadomy niuansów w prawosławnym obrządku polskim i rosyjskim. Zna się na sztuce i architekturze prawosławnej [FWS1-RT-PWR02_1]

Zna elementarną terminologię związaną z prawosławiem w Rosji zaczerpniętą z greckiego obszaru językowego (np. kliros, soleia, kanun, anałoj, prosfora), która nie posiada odpowiedników w języku polskim z uwagi na lokalną specyfikę i różnice kulturowe [FWS1-RT-PWR02_2]
