Purpose and description of the content of education:
Celem modułu jest zapoznanie osoby studiującej z istotnymi zagadnieniami z zakresu historii, geografii, religii i sztuki Ukrainy. Omówione zostaną tradycje i zwyczaje oraz zjawiska społeczno-kulturowe, które zachodziły w historii Ukrainy do 1991 r., kiedy po rozpadzie ZSRR ogłoszono jej niepodległość. W trakcie zajęć analizowane będą elementy ukraińskiej kultury duchowej, która stanowi źródło poznania specyfiki narodu ukraińskiego, zrozumienia jego mentalności i obyczajów. W rezultacie osoba studiująca zdobywa wiedzę dotyczącą ukraińskich wierzeń, obrzędowości, symboliki oraz rzemiosła ludowego. Poznaje ludową twórczość oralną, a także materialne dziedzictwo ukraińskiego folkloru. Bada kwestię formowania się tożsamości kulturowej Ukraińców na przestrzeni wieków.
