Purpose and description of the content of education:
Celem modułu Obywatele a polityka w krajach wschodniosłowiańskich dzisiaj jest zapoznanie osób studiujących z aktualnymi wydarzeniami społeczno-politycznymi w Rosji, Białorusi i Ukrainie. W ramach zajęć omawiane są przełomowe zdarzenia z przeszłości, mające kluczowe znaczenie dla obecnej sytuacji politycznej i nastrojów panujących w społeczeństwie rosyjskim, ukraińskim i białoruskim. Analizowany jest stosunek Rosji, Ukrainy i Białorusi do projektów i organizacji międzynarodowych (Unia Europejska, NATO, ONZ, Rada Europy, walka z globalnym ociepleniem). Omawiane są różnego rodzaju ograniczenia wolności obywatelskich – zarówno w przeszłości, jak i dziś (trudności w zakładaniu i funkcjonowaniu partii politycznych, represje stosowane wobec osób i organizacji krytykujących aktualną politykę państwa).
