Purpose and description of the content of education: | The aim of the module is to familiarize students with the essence and methodology of strategic planning. The module focuses primarily on the practical dimension of one of the basic tools of local and regional management, which are development strategies, enabling optimization of the processes of functioning of local self-government units. Classes conducted in a laboratory (team) formula will give an opportunity to identify the process of strategy creation and link it with other planning documents, defining sectoral strategies and programmes and projects of specific actions, including at national and EU level. An important element will be mastering the workshop of building a development strategy, a selected area strategy or a multi-year programme for a selected local government unit. |
