Purpose and description of the content of education:
Moduł przedstawia w aspekcie historycznym i systematycznym tematykę filozofii od czasów Kartezjusza z uwzględnieniem aktualnego stanu debaty filozoficznej. Szczególny nacisk położony jest na zagadnienia metafizyki, ontologii i teorii poznania. Moduł służy wykształceniu umiejętności krytycznego myślenia, ze szczególnym naciskiem na umiejętność uzasadniania określonego stanowiska oraz dostrzegania założeń szczegółowych problemów w postaci całościowej wizji bytu i struktury poznania. Ma wyrabiać umiejętność dokonywania wieloaspektowej analizy problemu, pogłębiać świadomość historycznego charakteru namysłu filozoficznego i wskazywać kontekst rozumienia współczesnej kultury.
