Immunology Field of study: Biophysics
Programme code: W4-S1BF19.2023

Module name: Immunology
Module code: W4-BF-S1-6-23-26A
Programme code: W4-S1BF19.2023
Semester: summer semester 2025/2026
Language of instruction: Polish
Form of verification: exam
ECTS credits: 3
Purpose and description of the content of education:
The Immunology module aims to familiarise students with the fundamental issues underlying immunology and the mechanisms of non-specific and specific immune system responses to stimulation by pathogens and other antigens. Students will learn the fundamentals of the structure, formation and function of antibodies in antigen recognition and their importance in the context of the proper functioning of the immune system.
