Celem przedmiotu Algebra liniowa A jest wykształcenie u słuchaczy umiejętności swobodnego posługiwania się podstawowymi pojęciami i narzędziami algebry liniowej nad ciałami oraz przygotowanie bazy pojęciowej dla przedmiotu Geometria A. Przewiduje się realizację następujących treści programowych: 1. Przestrzenie liniowe 2. Baza i wymiar przestrzeni liniowej 3. Struktura zbioru rozwiązań układu równań liniowych 4. Przekształcenia liniowe 5. Wektory i wartości własne 6. Formy dwuliniowe
