Purpose and description of the content of education:
As part of the module, students will gain knowledge of the security of information processed in ICT systems. Implementation of the module is intended to make the student able to define and recognize basic threats to information security, as well as to take appropriate steps to protect the information resources entrusted to them. This goal is served by the use of student activation methods, as well as analyzing and critically evaluating examples of information security documentation and activities.

The student knows what information security is and its importance. The student knows the principles of ensuring information security. The student knows what classified information and sensitive data are. He knows the legal aspects of securing information. The student knows what auditing and risk analysis in the sphere of information is and understands the need to conduct them systematically. [BI04​_1]
