Purpose and description of the content of education: | Students will learn about the methods and techniques of researching user experience (UX, User Experience), which are commonly used to learn and verify the feelings of users in their contact with products and services of the digital and network environment. Research related to the UX audit is carried out to verify the usability of the solutions used, their compliance with the expectations of the target group, and to verify business plans. Exercises prepare students to independently carry out a research process covering the area of optimization of prepared digital products and services, web services and mobile applications. As part of the course, students will gain knowledge about UX research methods and techniques, such as expert analysis, heuristic analysis, benchmarking audit, usability tests, e.g. A/B test, mouse tracking, statistical analysis. The aim of the course is also to acquire practical skills in conducting the UX research and optimization. |

Student has knowledge of user experience (UX) research methods and techniques at the optimisation stage in the design process of digital products. [UX05_1] |
K_W01 [4/5] |
Student is able to plan and conduct the research process independently at the optimisation stage. Selects methods, techniques and research participants appropriate to the diagnosed system and the client's requirements. [UX05_2] |
K_U02 [4/5] |
Student is able to carry out analysis of the data collected during the study. Correctly interprets the results obtained, and prepares recommendations for the optimised product. [UX05_3] |
K_U03 [3/5] |
Student understands the need to tailor the project to the needs of a specific user group. At the heart of all research undertaken by the student is the user. [UX05_4] |
