Purpose and description of the content of education: | In this module, students learn about digital photography covering technical, practical, and legal aspects. This knowledge forms the basis for many practical exercises aimed at the student's mastery of the secrets of the photographic craft. This includes both the handling of photographic equipment and the processing of the resulting images. |

The student has a knowledge of the history of photography. He knows the construction and principle of functioning digital cameras of different types and camera obscura. He knows what color is, color models, and color spaces. Knows the RAW format and can point out its advantages and disadvantages. Has knowledge of copyright law concerning the protection of photographic works and issues related to their capture. [FCO04_1] |

The student is proficient in the use of a digital camera. Correctly selects exposure parameters depending on lighting conditions. Carefully composes the frame and creatively uses depth of field. Skillfully uses existing light and chooses artificial light. Can take technically correct artistic, documentary, and advertising photographs. The student can "develop" a photograph taken in RAW format in the "digital darkroom."Can make the necessary corrections with the help of a selected image processing program. Controls exposure, detail, colors, and image geometry.
