Purpose and description of the content of education: | The course's primary objective is to broaden students' knowledge and skills in the field of the research process in social sciences, with particular emphasis on the specificity of political science. The classes equip students with expertise in the field of scientific cognition and basic paradigms of scientific knowledge and with the ability to independently conduct the research process, taking into account each of its stages (e.g. formulating research questions and hypotheses, creating the variable space area, selecting a sample, conducting research, processing and analysis of results, interpretation of results, acceptance or rejection of ideas), the ability to prepare a research report. The method of transferring knowledge is more broadly aimed at arousing methodological awareness and research curiosity in students. |
