Purpose and description of the content of education: | During the course, theoretical concepts of social, human and health capital will be discussed, and critical theories that describe the definitions, sources and components of these concepts will be presented. Emphasis will also be placed on measuring human, social and health capital, which enables a multidimensional characterization of these resources. The module aims to provide students with the knowledge and tools needed for the process of analysis and assessment of human, social and health capital in the context of political science sub-disciplines, such as education policy, health policy or development policy. This will give students an advanced understanding of how these types of capital affect individuals and communities and how they can be developed. |
