Purpose and description of the content of education: | The module is designed to introduce the student to the essence of anthropological thinking about man and his culture, develop the ability to see and analyse cultural diversity and dissimilarity. These classes allow the student to get acquainted with the main theoretical and research trends in Polish, European and American anthropology, as well as to present the place of ethnology and cultural anthropology in the set of human sciences. The classes introduce ethnological reflection in shaping and interpreting cultural phenomena. The topics of the classes are intended to develop critical thinking in the face of a variety of theoretical proposals and attempts to use them later in professional work. |
