Purpose and description of the content of education:
The aim of this course is to introduce the student to the tradition of animation movements and their present form, with particular emphasis on animation activities involving people with disabilities. In addition, the course is to prepare students to skilfully write applications for funding of animation tasks, e.g. as part of programmes carried out by the National Centre of Culture or others organised by non-governmental organisations. Students should therefore combine in their project - the ability to apply for funding, - ability to carry out animation activities, - knowledge of socio-cultural animation, - knowledge of the specific functioning and cultural and social needs of people with disabilities. All learning outcomes assumed in the module are planned to be achieved during exercises and students' own work, including the study of literature on the subject and required issues. An important part of the course consists of visits to cultural institutions, aimed at learning about accessibility and promoting artistic activity of persons with disabilities.
