Purpose and description of the content of education:
Moduł "Projektowanie i dobór biomateriałów" ma umożliwić studentowi/studentce poznanie ogólnych zasad projektowania oraz reguł, które stosowane są w metodologii doboru materiałów biomedycznych. Słuchacz/słuchaczka powinna opanować istotną wiedzę z zakresu biomateriałów oraz definicje ich właściwości. Zrozumienie zasad postępowania w tym zakresie ma doprowadzić do umiejętności samodzielnego doboru biomateriału w oparciu o zastosowanie odpowiednich metod. Dzięki nabytej wiedzy Student/studentka powinna uzyskać lepsze zrozumienie współzależności pomiędzy materiałem, jego strukturą, a właściwościami materiałów biomedycznych.

Znajomość zasad projektowania i metodologii doboru biomateriałów. Przyswojenie kluczowej wiedzy z zakresu materiałów stosowanych w praktyce biomedycznej oraz ich właściwości determinujących zastosowanie. Szczegółowe zapoznanie się z wykresami doboru materiałów - umiejętność ich analizy, interpretacji oraz praktycznego zastosowania. Zrozumienie idei wskaźników funkcjonalności oraz umiejętność ich praktycznego zastosowania. [K_1]
