Description:
The aim of the course is to broaden students' knowledge of the regions of South Asia, Southeast Asia and East Asia and their role in international political relations. In particular, the following topics will be covered as part of the classes: Religious and philosophical systems in the region. The problem of "Asian values" and their relation to Western values. Problems of domestic and foreign policy of the three most important civilization and political centers in Asia: China, India and Japan. Their impact on the regions of South Asia and East Asia. Domestic and foreign policy problems of Southeast Asian countries. Influence of external actors on the regions discussed, especially the United States and Australia. Polish foreign policy towards the countries of the region.
