Description:
The module aims to explore issues related to working in a post-production team and developing knowledge, skills, and competencies in crucial elements of managing the post-production process. Students will deepen their knowledge of the phases that accompany the post-production stage. Students will learn techniques to lead creative discussions related to the post-production of images and sound for best results. They will understand the various issues surrounding the film and new media post-production. Case studies will be presented to enhance the competencies and knowledge of the future post-production manager or post supervisor. Students will develop skills in conducting post-production meetings, negotiating, estimating meeting time and moderating discussions, communicating with a group of collaborators, creating post-production meeting agendas, and describing post-production management objectives. This module covers organizational, technical, and financial issues related to film and new media post-production.
Prerequisites:
The student should know the film and new media production stages and human resource management.
