Description:
The module aims to explore working in a production team and developing knowledge, skills, and competencies in the key elements of production management work. Students will deepen their knowledge of the stage of the production process. Students will learn techniques to lead creative discussions to produce the best results. Students will understand the various issues surrounding the film and new media production. Case studies will be presented to enhance the competencies and knowledge of the future producer. Students will develop skills in conducting production meetings, negotiations, estimating meeting times, and moderating discussions. The module covers such issues as types of market agreements, ways of communication, creating a meeting plan, types of production management objectives, distinguished based on different criteria, and differentiation of objectives set in the stages of production (development, pre-production, production, and post-production), principles of goal setting and creating schedules.
Prerequisites:
The student has to have a basic knowledge of the film industry and human resource management.
