Description:
The course aims to familiarize students with the practical knowledge related to Film Development and acquire the necessary skills during a film project's conceptual work and development. In particular, students will acquire skills and competencies related to the preliminary work leading to the production of a feature film, documentary, and animated film, the preparation and writing of a script and script revisions, collaboration with a script doctor, seeking investors and co-producers, preparing financial plans, creating set design documentation. This module covers the following issues: script development, production development, creating agreements in order to prepare a film production, drafting preliminary works, financial and organizational preparation of film production, types of preliminary agreements between a producer and a director, characteristics and description of project development, and methods of character development in a screenplay. The final objective of the module is to acquire the skills by which the student will evaluate the chances of success and feasibility of a project as a continuation of the film production process.
Prerequisites:
The student has to have basic knowledge of creating the film's process and phases.

Individual preparation for each class, systematization of the material presented during classes, preparation of projects - also group ones.
