W ramach modułu literatura niemieckiego obszaru językowego studenci zapoznawani są z wybranymi tendencjami rozwojowymi w literaturze niemieckiej, w ujęciu zaproponowanym przez prowadzącego zajęcia. Dokonuje się przeglądu i charakterystyki wybranych prądów literackich oraz filozoficznych w kontekście wydarzeń historycznych oraz społecznych danej epoki. Omawiane są wybrane utwory literackie, ich poetyka, problematyka oraz symbolika, przybliżane są postaci twórców oraz myślicieli, decydujących o kształcie danego prądu literackiego.
