Optional Subject: - Feature Film Editing - Documentary Film Editing Course Description: Feature film editing The module aims to develop the ability to select completed material for a feature film and integrate it into a single whole, convey knowledge concerning editing and image processing techniques, shape skills, and strengthen competencies in combining images with sound, including music. Among the elements of practical training in the art of editing will be cost planning, planning the realization of audiovisual material. The feature film editing module will allow students to learn editing techniques, thanks to which the narrative created can take on the characteristics of various film genres. An essential element will be the creation of a coherent composition through the transmission of technical secrets of working with images, sound, and music. The student will learn about shots, types of sets (close-up, American), close-ups, half close-ups, and others. As part of the module, he/she will learn international nomenclature, which will make it easier for him/her to communicate with the team during the shooting of scenes and during the editing itself. Course Description: Documentary Film Editing The course aims to develop the ability to select completed documentary film material and merge it into a single whole, provide knowledge about editing and image processing techniques, and develop skills and strengthen competencies in combining image and sound, including music. Among the elements of practical training in the art of editing will be cost planning, planning the realization of audiovisual material. An essential element will be creating a coherent composition thanks to the technical secrets of working with images, sound, and music. The student will learn about the types of shot realization, types of sets (close-up, American), close-ups, half close-ups, and others. He/she will also learn international nomenclature, which will make it easier for him/her to communicate with the team during the realization of the scenes and the editing itself.
Prerequisites:
The student should know the basics of combining implementation techniques. He should know the basics of communication and the type of plan he wants to use now. Should have sensitivity and knowledge of film and television. The student should have the basics and give specific examples of films and television shows with similar editing styles.
